Providentially, eczema is not contagious therefore even if a child who is suffering from this type of skin disorder gets into contact with other children. Assuredly there is no danger of these other children getting the disease. Given that this type of skin disorder is not contagious, there is no need for the isolation of the child who is suffering from eczema.

Another thing that parents should know what is eczema is that it will disappears as the child grows older. According to experts, seeing that the immune system of the child becomes stronger, the child will have smaller episodes of skin inflammations. On the other hand, until such time when the immune system of the child is strong enough to ward off eczema, parents should always be watchful of any dry, red and itchy patches of skin in their children.
